Cary Imps (Cary, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), 62-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cary upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Imps host Apex (Apex, NC) to play the Cougars in a Southwest Wake 4A bout on Friday, December 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Apex lost 71-68 in their recent non-league bout against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Catamounts play the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Panther Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
