In Saturday's non-league match, the host Virginia Episcopal Bishops football squad scored a good 40-23 victory over the Broadwater Academy Vikings.

In their next game, the Bishops clash with the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 22. Virginia Episcopal will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Seahawks enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 42-6 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
