Match Summary
What can I say about this match?!?! It was everything you would expect a championship match to be! Loveland is fierce! They have 2 hitters that play all around that are just massive on the net if you don't put a block up on them. They are very dynamic and move a lot in their offense that can juke your blockers...the next thing you know.. the ball is on your court, lol! ANNNND that is exactly what happened to us in the first set...we got a whoopin!! The team really had a great reset between matches and talked about the whole purpose we were at that tournament... to win! So we dug in, made yet more adjustments; fed our hungry hitters and pulled out a battle of a match in set 2 winning 25-23.
OHHH let's not forget about set 3!! Loveland serves up 6 or 7 straight on us in the first rotation!! I'm talking error after error for us, whew!! Our setter attacked, got the kill for us and the tides turned. We clawed our way back and then it was a steady point exchange race to 17!!!!
