Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC), 57-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carolina International upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Comets travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 19-8. Thomasville won 68-46 in their recent non-league test against Alleghany (Sparta, NC)

The Bobcats now own a 16-12 record.
