Virginia High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Varsity Opponent
February 9, 2025: Warrenton, VA 20186 The Highland Hawks basketball team scored 95 points and limited the visiting Varsity Opponent to 61 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Hawks now have a 31-6 record. They play next when they host Prince George's Christian Academy Blue for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Highland will confront a Flyers team coming off a 67-61 league loss to Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA). The Flyers record now stands at 17-9.
With the loss, Varsity Opponent moves to 434-1493 on the season. The travel to Eduprize Open (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Sunday, February 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 31-2.
