New Jersey High School Softball - Ocean City bounces Lower Cape May
May 6, 2019: Ocean City, NJ 08226 Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ), 19-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middle Township for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Ocean City will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Lower Cape May falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Cedar Creek lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ)
