California High School Basketball - Lynbrook nips Canyon

Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 59-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lynbrook upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Menlo-Atherton won 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against University (San Francisco, CA)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 29. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 52-30 non-league win over Kennedy (Sacramento, CA).
