Louisiana High School Basketball - Ponchatoula trounces Northshore

The Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) basketball crushed the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 80-57 in Friday's league test.

The Green Wave (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Destrehan was trounced by Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 59-52, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Slidell for a 5A District 6 test on Tuesday, January 22. Northshore will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 75-64 league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 17-7.
