Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Austin Prep drops to Reading Memorial
May 11, 2019: Reading, MA 01867 Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA), 19-8 in a non-league battle.
The Rockets now have a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Woburn Memorial for a Middlesex battle on Tuesday, May 14. Reading Memorial will clash with a Tanners squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Watertown (Watertown, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 10-4.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) in a South battle, on Monday, May 13. Austin Prep will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Bishops come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA).
