December 5, 2023: Fort Defiance, AZ 86504 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) and the host Window Rock Fighting Scouts (Fort Defiance, AZ), saw Miyamura's basketball squad wallop Window Rock by a tally of 55-30.
With the victory, Miyamura improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Roswell lost 62-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Fighting Scouts confront the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Window Rock will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 85-53 non-league loss to Lovington (Lovington, NM).
