North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood tops Indian Land
December 12, 2018: Monroe, NC 28112 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Parkwood Rebels (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC), saw Parkwood's basketball squad knock off Indian Land by a count of 40-21.
With the victory, Parkwood upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a Southern Carolina 3A challenge on Friday, December 14. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Sun Valley lost 69-17 in their recent league challenge against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)
Next up, the Warriors play the Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 13. Indian Land will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 81-9 league win over First Assembly Christian (Monroe, NC).
