The Aransas Pass Panthers basketball team (Aransas Pass, TX), dropped 75-61 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alice for a non-league battle on Friday, December 28. Vela will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 73-69 league win over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 9-9.
