Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 11-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Yerington upgrades its record to 20-10 on the season. The Lions travel to Incline (Incline Village, NV) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 18-6. Incline won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Yerington (Yerington, NV)

With the defeat, Pershing County falls to 16-16 on the season.
