Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN), 54-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Western advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Panthers host Taylor (Kokomo, IN) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Titans enter the match with a record of 10-0.

The Berries now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCutcheon for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Logansport will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 44-39 non-league win over Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-5.
