April 6, 2019: Ripley, MS 38663 Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Tigers host Byhalia (Byhalia, MS) to battle the Indians in a 4A Region 1 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-14. Byhalia lost 4-3 in their recent league test against New Albany (New Albany, MS)
With the defeat, Tupelo falls to 14-6 on the season. The Golden wave host South Panola (Batesville, MS) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 18-4. South Panola lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Grenada (Grenada, MS)
