The Anthem Prep Eagles held off the visiting Desert Heights Prep Yote football team by a final score of 41-40 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Anthem Prep improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Gladiators in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Gladiators go into the outing with a record of 0-2. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy lost 52-0 in their recent league outing against Salome (Salome, AZ)

With the loss, Desert Heights Prep moves to 1-1 on the season. The Yote host Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ) to confront the Patriots in a 1A West (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 1.
