In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ), by a count of 93-16.

The Cougars (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Chaparral was crushed by O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ), 49-29, in a non-league outing.

The Hawks now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Walden Grove for a non-league outing on Monday, December 19.
