Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH) and the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), observed Lucas's basketball team nudge McDonald by a final score of 47-45.

In their next game, the Cubs meet the Richmond Heights Spartans (Richmond Heights, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 13. Lucas will attempt to move on its 26-1 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 22-4 record after their 60-47 non-league win over John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH).
