December 30, 2024: Lithia, FL 33547 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels basketball team scored a close 55-53 triumph over the Newsome Wolves.
The Colonels (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Lloyd Memorial nipped Newport (Newport, KY), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Newsome will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Stingrays go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 80-55 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Clearwater, FL).
