Rockland Bulldogs (Rockland, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Raft River Trojans (Malta, ID), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rockland upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Mackay (Mackay, ID) to play the Miners in a 1A Rocky Mountain bout on Saturday, January 6. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Mackay won 70-35 in their recent non-league bout against Richfield (Richfield, ID)

Next up, the Trojans play the Valley Vikings (Hazelton, ID) in a 1A Snake River bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Raft River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 47-37 non-league loss to Carey (Carey, ID).
