Utah High School Basketball - Valley thwarts Gunnison Valley
December 28, 2024: Gunnison, UT 84634 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT) and the host Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT), observed Valley's basketball team knock off Gunnison Valley by a score of 69-55.
The Buffalos (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, El Capitan dropped by Piute (Junction, UT), 66-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) in a 2A Region 15 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Gunnison Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 74-55 non-league loss to Union (Roosevelt, UT).
