Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverside Academy crushes McDonogh 35
November 30, 2018: Reserve, LA 70084 Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), 87-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Riverside Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-3. St. Thomas More won 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hahnville (Boutte, LA)
Next up, the Roneagles clash with the Wright (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 7. McDonogh 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 83-73 non-league win over Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
