Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS), 74-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbus upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to play the Conquistadors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 22. The Conquistadors come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Olive Branch won 66-37 in their recent non-league bout against Murrah (Jackson, MS)

Next up, the Panthers play the Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 15. West Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 56-18 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS).
