Missouri High School Basketball - Westminster Christian holds off Jackson
January 10, 2019: Jackson, MO 63755 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Christian Wildcats (St. Louis, MO) and the host Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO), saw Westminster Christian's basketball squad hold off Jackson by a tally of 45-39.
With the victory, Westminster Christian improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to McCluer (Florissant, MO) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 11. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. McCluer won 43-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Fighting Indians confront the Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO) in a Southeast Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, January 15. Jackson will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Mules come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 60-52 non-league win over Granite City (Granite City, IL).
