The Holdrege Dusters football team (Holdrege, NE), was beaten 48-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE)

The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Minden (Minden, NE). The Whippets come into the C1 District 6 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Minden was beaten by Cozad (Cozad, NE), 19-0, in a league challenge.

The Dusters now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host McCook for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 5. Holdrege will meet a Bison team coming off a 44-7 league win over Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Bison record now stands at 6-0.
