South Carolina High School Soccer - Hoggard knocks off St. James
March 23, 2019: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 26. Hoggard will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 8-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
The Sharks now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conway for a AAAAA Region VI challenge on Tuesday, March 26. St. James will confront a Tigers team coming off a 12-0 league loss to West Florence (Florence, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.
