Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Homer-Center overwhelms Purchase Line

December 19, 2017: Commodore, PA 15729

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) and the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), saw Homer-Center's basketball squad wallop Purchase Line by a tally of 84-45.

With the victory, Homer-Center improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to United (Armagh, PA) to confront the Lions in a Heritage challenge on Friday, December 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. United lost 56-48 in their recent league challenge against Saltsburg (Saltsburg, PA)

Next up, the Red Dragons confront the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Purchase Line will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 56-51 league loss to Penns Manor (Clymer, PA).
