Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Horizon Honors Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Desert Edge upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ) to battle the Minotaur in a non-league test on Saturday, February 26. The Minotaur come into the test with a record of 0-2. Odyssey Institute lost 14-7 in their recent non-league test against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ)

With the defeat, Horizon Honors falls to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Willcox (Willcox, AZ) to battle the Cowboys in a non-league test on Saturday, February 26. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 2-0. Willcox won 14-6 in their recent non-league test against Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ)
