The Belmont Cardinals football team (Belmont, MS), was beaten 43-16 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL)

The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheffield (Sheffield, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region 7 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Sheffield achieved victory over R.A. Hubbard (Courtland, AL), 34-22, in a non-league challenge.
