The Meridian Mustangs football squad scored 32 points and restricted the visiting Farwell Eagles to 22 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepherd for a Jack Pine battle on Friday, September 13. Meridian will play a Bluejays squad coming off a 38-12 league loss to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-1.
