Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower holds off Angleton

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) and the host Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), saw Fort Bend Hightower's basketball squad hold off Angleton by a tally of 68-63.

With the victory, Fort Bend Hightower improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Northbrook (Houston, TX) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 6. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. Angleton will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 61-52 league win over Manvel (Manvel, TX).
