Indiana High School Basketball - Lawrence Central nips Pike

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN) and the host Pike Red Devils (Indianapolis, IN), saw Lawrence Central's basketball squad hold off Pike by a tally of 65-63.

With the victory, Lawrence Central improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Giants in a Metropolitan challenge on Thursday, December 26. The Giants come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Ben Davis lost 53-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Pike will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
