Texas High School Basketball - Mineola knocked off by Van
December 10, 2019: Mineola, TX 75773 The Van Vandals basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Mineola Yellowjackets to 49 in the Vandals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vandals now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 12. Van will battle a Panthers team coming off a 75-43 non-league win over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Sabine was defeated by Atlanta (Atlanta, TX), 75-67, in a non-league contest.
