In Tuesday's league outing, the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) basketball squad felled the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), by a margin of 65-50.

The Red Devils (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the South Fork 2A outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, North Lincoln was beaten by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 42-39, in a non-league outing.
