Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich thwarts Lake Forest

December 13, 2019: Lake Zurich, IL 60047

The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 42-32 in Friday's league test.

The Bears (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots go into the North Suburban test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Stevenson went down by Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 55-48, in a non-league test.

The Scouts now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Township for a North Suburban test on Friday, December 20. Lake Forest will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-57 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.
