Kentucky High School Basketball - Madisonville-North Hopkins fells Bardstown
February 2, 2019: Madisonville, KY 42431 Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bardstown Tigers (Bardstown, KY), 66-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Maroons host Evansville Day (Evansville, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Evansville Day won 41-35 in their recent non-league bout against Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN)
Next up, the Tigers play the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 5. Bardstown will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 25-0 record after their 86-59 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY).
