Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 54-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Randolph Southern upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Tri (Straughn, IN) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 17. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Tri won 49-39 in their recent non-league bout against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN)
