The Alleghany Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Langtree Charter Academy Lions to 44 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. Alleghany will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-37 non-league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-4.
