California High School Basketball - Grossmont holds off Olympian

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the host Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA), saw Grossmont's basketball squad hold off Olympian by a tally of 57-55.

With the victory, Grossmont improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Foothillers host Helix (La Mesa, CA) to confront the Highlanders in a Grossmont - Hills challenge on Tuesday, January 8. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 5. Olympian will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 83-77 non-league win over Elsinore (Wildomar, CA).
