The Harrison Central Huskies football team (Cadiz, OH), was ripped 50-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH)

The Purple Riders (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH). The Potters come into the Buckeye 8 - North challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, East Liverpool was ripped by Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Clairsville for a Ohio Valley AAAA challenge on Friday, October 4. Harrison Central will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 13-10 league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.
