Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 29. Westview will face a Falcons squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Central Noble (Albion, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 23-4.

With the loss, Prairie Heights falls to 16-9 on the campaign.
