Iowa High School Basketball - Dowling Catholic victorious over Kuemper
January 4, 2025: West Des Moines, IA 50265 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Dowling Catholic Maroons basketball team scored a good 62-54 triumph over the Kuemper Knights.
The Maroons (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Southeast Polk topped Indianola (Indianola, IA), 64-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten contest, on Thursday, January 9. Kuemper will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 65-60 league win over Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA).
