February 15, 2025: Jonesport, ME 04649 Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), 46-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Aroostook upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 16-3. Katahdin won 67-53 in their recent non-league match against Easton (Easton, ME)
The Royals now sport a 14-8 record.
