California High School Basketball - Jefferson fells Locke
January 5, 2019: Los Angeles, CA 90011 Jefferson Democrats (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Locke Saints (Los Angeles, CA), 78-68 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Democrats travel to Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Toilers in a Exposition bout on Wednesday, January 9. The Toilers go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Manual Arts won 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Bell (Bell, CA)
Next up, the Saints play the View Park Knights (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coliseum bout, on Monday, January 7. Locke will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 73-59 non-league loss to Loyola (Los Angeles, CA).
