The Platte Canyon Huskies tipped the host Englewood Pirates basketball team by a final score of 42-37 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies (Denver, CO) in a 3A/2A Frontier game, on Friday, January 5. Platte Canyon will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.

With the defeat, Englewood moves to 1-3 on the year. The Pirates host Dawson School (Lafayette, CO) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, December 14.
