The Boerne Greyhounds got by the host Natalia Mustangs softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Greyhounds (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The go into the 4A Region IV District 28 battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Canyon Lake nudged Taylor (Taylor, TX), 9-7, in a non-league battle.
