The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), saw Manchester's volleyball squad beat Grassfield by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Lancers travel to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 19-2. Thomas Dale won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)

The Grizzlies now own a 10-8 record.
