December 19, 2017: Cumby, TX 75433 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) and the visiting Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX), saw Miller Grove's basketball squad overcome Cumby by a tally of 43-30.
With the victory, Miller Grove improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-7.
The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Fruitvale was defeated by Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
