Michigan High School Football - Brother Rice tips University of Detroit Jesuit
September 30, 2006: Detroit, MI 48221 In Saturday's league bout, the visiting Brother Rice Warriors football team scored a close 16-14 victory over the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs.
The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI). The Pilots come into the Catholic Central bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, De La Salle Collegiate held off Divine Child (Dearborn, MI), 12-0, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, University of Detroit Jesuit moves to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to St. Mary Prep (Orchard Lake, MI) to clash with the Eaglets in a Catholic Central challenge on Saturday, October 7. The Eaglets go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. St. Mary Prep won 28-7 in their recent league challenge against Catholic Central (Novi, MI)
