February 9, 2019: Franklin, IL 62638 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) and the visiting Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL), saw South County's basketball squad overcome Carlinville by a tally of 52-43.
With the victory, South County improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Vipers host Lutheran (Springfield, IL) to confront the Crusaders in a MSM challenge on Tuesday, February 12. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Lutheran won 57-44 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Roxana Shells (Roxana, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Tuesday, February 12. Carlinville will attempt to improve on its 7-21 season record. The Shells come into the challenge with a 14-13 record after their 51-38 league win over Southwestern (Piasa, IL).
